Dr. Dye was Professor Emeritus of Physiology, Cornell University Veterinary School. He earned his Ph.D. at Cornell in 1925.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Young Dye; a daughter, Mrs. James W. Spencer, Ithaca; four sons, J. Gordon Dye, Camp Hill, Pa., Howard S. Dye, Tucson, Arizona, H. Wesley Dye, Los Angeles and Richard W. Dye, Kuala Lampur, Malaysia; seventeen grandchildren; two brothers, Warren E. Dye and Lynn Dye, both of Firth, Idaho; four sisters, Mrs. Florence Hanny, Salt Lake City, Utah, Mrs. Rachel Hale, Mesa, Arizona, Mrs. Aice Brewington, Hot Springs, Idaho and Mrs. Ida Gardiner, Idaho Falls, Idaho.
Services will be held in the LDS Church. Burial will be in East Lawn Cemetery. The Wagner Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
