Favorite daughter of Shah Jahan and Mumtaz Mahal. She sided with her brother Dara Shikoh over Aurangzeb in the war of succession. After Dara was defeated she was exiled from the Imperial Court. She became a disciple of Hazrat Nizamuddin's teachings. Her tomb is a site of pilgrimage for the Muslim women of Delhi.
