Linnie May Artherton, 99, of Arkansas City, KS died January 28, 2014, at the South Central Kansas Medical Center. Funeral services have been scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Friday, January 31, 2014, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. President Bobbie Gott will officiate. Burial will follow in the Parker Cemetery. Friends may greet the family 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the Rindt-Erdman Funeral Home. Linnie was born December 12, 1914, to Daniel R. and May E. Bauer Alsip in Silverdale, KS. She was reared and educated in Silverdale. On December 24, 1932, she married Frank L. Artherton in Newkirk, OK.
