YAKIMA - Our beloved mother, grandmother, and sister, Alta Aline (Deason) Von Essen, 89 of Yakima went home to be with her Lord and Savior on the 23rd of August, 2008. She was surrounded by her family and caregivers at Izzy's Adult Family Home in Yakima.
Aline was born November 26, 1918 in Hagerman, New Mexico to Alfa F. and Nora (Connell) Deason. She was raised and educated in New Mexico. On May 9th, 1934 she married Ronald N. Von Essen in Carlsbad, New Mexico. They were married 67 years. In 1937 they moved to Gleed, WA. In 1954 they moved to Wapato where they lived for 35 years and raised three children.
