He was born May 15, 1919, in Sharon, Pa., the son of John James and Mary Bauman Bayley.
A lifetime resident here, he was employed as a truck driver by Lee Way Motor Freight 23 years, retiring in 1969.
Survivors include his wife, Margaret Thompson Bayley, whom he married May 7, 1947; three sons, Howard G. of Bristolville, James M. and Richard Lee, both of Warren; three daughters, Elaine Lough, Donna and Mary Bayley, both of Warren; a stepdaughter, Darlene Lee of Cleveland; 17 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. A daughter, JoAnna, and a brother, Arthur, preceded him in death.
Services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at the Carl W. Hall Funeral Home. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday.
