Clarence Richard DeHart, fifty-five, Mountville, formerly of Cumberland, Md., died Monday in Memorial Hospital, Cumberland, of a heart attack.
He and his wife were visiting her mother when he became ill.
He recently became custodian of Brooks Hall, Millersville State Teachers College, and previously worked for the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad.
He was the father of Richard C. DeHart, head basketball coach at MSTC.
Born in Eckman, W.Va., a son of Mrs. Anne Hoyle DeHart and the late Thomas R. DeHart, he was a member of Center Street Methodist Church, Cumberland.
Surviving are his wife, Kathryn Evans DeHart, his mother, who resides in Memphis, Tenn.; three sons, Richard C., Mountville; Thomas E. Alamogordo, N. Mex.; and Jon M., New York; also seven grandchildren, a brother, Harry T., Memphis; three sisters, Mrs. R.C. Cannon, Memphis; Mrs. Veazy Holt, Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; and Mrs. W. Paul Williams, Ashland, Ky.
