She was born in Bronson on May 30 1891, a daughter of John and Mary (Schimczewski) Arndt.
Clara married Jay Adams on February 10, 1910 in Bronson. He preceded her in death in 1947. She was a life long resident of the area and a member of St. Mary's Assumption Church in Bronson.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Mary Ann Krienbrink of Sturgis, Mrs. Wanda Veasey of South Bend, Indiana and Mrs. Shirley Alger of Bronson; one son Floyd Adams of Ionia; nine grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Nellie Kosmerick of Bronson; and two brothers, Frank Arendt of Coldwater and Laddie Arent of Bronson.
Funeral services will be held at the St. Mary's Assumption Church, at 9:30 a.m. Monday with the Rev. Fr. Stanley Nowakowski officiating. Burial will take place in St. Mary's Cemetery.
The Rosary will be said at 7:30 p.m. Sunday, at the Kubasiak Funeral Home in Bronson.
