Marjorie was a great cook and was the rock and foundation of her family. She loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also loved to tell stories, listen to old country music and loved The Lord.
Marjorie is survived by her daughters, Debbie Downs, Sharon Johnson and husband Russell, Donna Davenport and husband Paul, and Cheryl Kuykendall and husband James; sons, Walter Hollaway, Jr. and Melvin Gandy and wife Nora; sisters, Linda Geslin and husband Bill, Jana Boehme and Theresa McGee and husband Ronnie; brother, Ron Dohmann and wife Dianna; 13 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
In addition to her parents, Marjorie was preceded in death by her first husband, Walter Hollaway, Sr.; second husband, Ronald Larry Eilers; brothers, Doug Dohmann and Don Dohmann.
The family will receive friends for a visitation on Friday, August 4, 2017 from 1:00 – 2:00 P.M. at Grace Funeral Home, 2401 Houston Hwy. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 P.M. with Pastor Ruben Castillo officiating.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Olivia EMS Volunteers, Calhoun County EMS and Sheriff’s Office, Jason and Amanda Hubbard, Mickey Thomas and children.
