Alberta R. Hashey "Pinky Lee", 70, a resident of Rice Lake Township for 35 years, passed away peacefully at home Saturday, June 20, 1998, after a lengthy illness.

Alberta worked at Ridgeview Country Club and Wesley Residence as a cook for most of her adult life.

She was involved in the Stroke Club at Benedictine Health Center, enjoyed gardening when she could and was an avid bingo player. Alberta loved being with her several pets. She could walk or fish all day, especially with her grandchildren.

Alberta was preceded in death by her husband of 28 years, Alfred D. Sr., in 1987; her twin brother, Albert Frabel; brothers: George and Robert Frabel; and sisters: Fern Vilandre and Martha Schroeder.

She is survived by her children: Shirley (Wayne) Cheney, Richard (Yvonne) Miller, Albert (Beverly) Miller, Thomas Miller, Peter Miller, Marcella (Michael) Johanson, Alfrieda (Ronald) Shaw, George Sr. (Lori) Hashey, Alfred Hashey Jr., John (Gerri) Hashey and Mary (Jeffrey) McCartneyh; 29 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; sisters: Lucille Sizemore, Helen Fugate, June Fugate, Mary Wichman and Mildred Clark; and many other relatives and friends.

Interment in Calvary Cemetery.
