Betty Wright Soccorsi of Punta Gorda FL, formally of Masontown, WV passed away on Wednesday, August 2, 2017.
She was born on October 4, 1926 in Howesville, WV and is the daughter of Irene (Cassady) and Ward Wright.
Betty graduated from Kingwood High School in 1942. During WWII, she worked at Sterling Faucet in Morgantown, WV manufacturing ammunition for the War Effort. She was a beautician by trade and owned and operated her salon for several years before retiring and moving to FL in the 70's.
She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Rudolph M. Soccorsi, and daughter, Cinda Soccorsi Ezzi. Betty is survived by her sister, JoAnn Polce of Masontown, WV, a brother, Terry Wright of Bruceton Mills, WV, grandson Tyler Ezzi and wife Monica, three great-grandchildren, Tyler II, Angelina and Nathan, and son-in-law, Dominic Ezzi.
