He served in the US Army. Leonard has worked at McCain Foods in Easton for 37 years. He was a member of the Presque Isle Elks Club, and the VFW in Presque Isle. Leonard enjoyed riding his motorcycle, camping, and just being outdoors.
He is survived by his father Franklin Curtis of Presque Isle, a son Stewart Curtis and his wife Jamie of Caribou, a daughter Trisha Chamberlain and her husband Lee of Presque Isle, a brother Richard Curtis and his wife Lorraine, four sisters; Penny McDonald and her husband Fred, Katherine and Tammy Curtis, Brenda Hafford and her husband Tim, all of Presque Isle. Five grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his mother Leona, and two brothers Gary and Ronald Curtis.
Interment with military honors was held at Northern Maine Veterans Cemetery, Caribou.
