Born on September 24, 1919, passed from this earthly life on August 2, 2017, Tom Reece was the son of Charlie and Ida Bowers Reece.
He was a member of Spring Hill The Baptist Church of Christ.

Tom was married to Ella Mae Sanders, who preceded him in death, along with 9 brothers and sisters, Bill, Abe, Robert, Charles, Ethel, Effie, Frances, Carrie Lee, and Hazel, One son-in-law Tommy Dale Conatser.

Surviving are 2 daughters and a son-in-law, Sharon Conatser, Sherry (Barry) Whiteaker. Grandchildren:
Michelle Mitchell, Melissa (David) Brock,
Randy (Donna) Conatser, Leslee Bumbalough, Nathan Whiteaker, Rodney (Tiffany) Conatser. Great grandchildren Amanda (Ireneo) Rose, Ashley (A J) King, Amber (James) Schoolfield, Dustin Brock, Randy Dale, Brandy,
Mike Conatser, Cameron, Chloie Certain, Caleb, Charley, Collin Conatser,
Jake Bumbalough, and Jordyn Whiteaker. Great-Great grandchildren Hallie Reece Rose, Kayden and Bryson King. And a host of loving friends.

Tom (PaPa) also had served his country in
World War II, where he was a POW for 109 days. He coached baseball and softball for over 35 years. He cooked at the Central View fair booth for 50 years.
Services at Thurman Funeral Home on Saturday August 5, 2017, interment to follow at Mt Pisgah cemetery.
Officiating will be Bro. Jason Brown, and
Bro. Barry Whiteaker, and Bro. Alton Marcum (graveyard).
