Mrs. Hulda Brown, Aged 82, Succumbs
Mrs. Hulda G. Brown, 82, widow of Milton Brown, died Friday about 3:30 p.m. in Evangelical Community Hospital, Lewisburg. She was a guest at the Evangelical Home for more than a year. She had been in the hospital for three weeks, and had been ill for about six weeks, including her hospital stay.
She was born in East Buffalo Township, Union County, September 20, 1870. Her father's name was William Wertz and her mother's maiden name was Mary Reamer. She was a member of St. Paul's Evangelical United Brethren Church, Lewisburg, and was prominent in the missionary society in the church and in conference. She had been a member of St. Paul's for more than 65 years.
Mrs. Brown had previously been married to Rev. A. S. Baumgardner and Rev. D.A. Artman, both ministers of the Central Pennsylvania Conference of the Evangelical United Brethren Church. Both are now deceased.
She leaves a sister, Mrs. Anna Winegarden, Lewisburg; several nieces Mrs. Gregg Johnson, Mrs. Joseph Johnson, and Mrs. Fred Carson, all of Lewisburg...
