Virginia graduated from Fort Dodge Senior High in 1940, and from St. Joseph's Mercy Hospital in Sioux City in 1944, where she received her training in nursing. On Aug. 18, 1944, Virginia was united in marriage to Roland J. Musselman in Gowrie.
Virginia worked as a nurse at Lutheran (Trinity Regional) Hospital in many departments and retired in 1992 as night shift nursing supervisor, after 47 years of service in nursing.
Virginia enjoyed bowling on the hospital bowling team and she rode her bicycle well into her 70s. Virginia cherished time spent with her grandchildren.
Virginia is survived by two sons, three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, two sisters and two brothers. She was preceded in death by her husband Roland Musselman Sr., and her parents, John and Ruth Keeler.
