The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 8, 1995, at Lincoln Willamette Funeral Directors.
Mrs. Volkman died July 4 at age 96. She was born June 11, 1899, in Ashland, Wis. She was a clerk in yardage at Meier & Frank for 17 years. She was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church. Her husband, Emil F., died in 1953.
Surviving are a son, Lenard [sic] of Portland; daughter, Phyllis Blum of Port Ludlow, Wash.; sister, Edith Van Eaton and Helen [sic] Dorsey, both of Woodland, Wash.; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Vault entombment will be in Riverview Abbey Mausoleum. Remembrances: Calvary Lutheran Church.
