Lucille Mae Van Vleck of Grand Ledge (formerly of Lansing) passed away August 4, 2017, at the age of 85. She was the former co-owner of the East Lansing Tastee Freeze/Tasty Twist. She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Max Van Vleck and infant son Edward.
Surviving to cherish her memory are her children: Joan (Kenneth) Winans, Brian (Terri) Van Vleck and June Van Vleck; grandchildren: Megan Winans, Meagan Van Vleck-Peet (Jason Peet), Brittani Van Vleck (Andrew Hale), Max Van Vleck, Taylor and Jordan Haywood.
Per her request there will be no services but a Celebration of Her Life will be held at the Delta Township Community Center in Lansing on August 13, 2017 from 2-7 p.m.
A special thank you to Sparrow Hospice caregivers Christie, Trina and Reverend Sue.
The family is being served by the Peters & Murray Funeral Home, Grand Ledge.
