Mr. Blankhorn served in the U.S. Air Force as a firefighter. He worked as a truck driver. He was a member of the Stichter Lodge #254 FandAM in Pottstown, PA. Mr. Blankhorn enjoyed boating in Maryland, snowmobiling in Galeton, PA, and hunting.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Blankhorn is survived by one daughter, Heather Wentzel of Reading, PA; two step-children, Margot, wife of the late Bruce Cushing of Oaks, PA and J. Scott, husband of Mary Fenyus of Gilbertsville, PA; five grandchildren and one great-granddaughter; one sister, Sandra Hartman of Reading, PA; and two nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his graveside service at Limerick Garden of Memories, 44 Swamp Pike , Limerick, PA on Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at 10:00 am. Officiating will be Rev. Jace L. Erb.
