Funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Monday, December 22, 2014 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Reverend Paul M. Boerger officiating. Burial in Flint Memorial Park. Visitation 5-8 p.m. Saturday, 1-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Linda was born in Saginaw, Michigan on February 12, 1948, the daughter of Carl W. and Doris (Schluckerbier) Wamsley and was a resident of Flint. She attended Lamb of God Lutheran Church and was a member of the Blue Star Mothers. She enjoyed packing and sending packages to the 'My Heart Supports the Troops'. She loved her family. Surviving are mother, Doris Wamsley; husband, Frederick M. Smith, Jr.; sons and daughters, Timothy Parker, Thomas (Regina) Parker, Natalie Parker, Shannon Smith (Kenneth Goodsby), Lisa Smith (Galen Sweeney); grandchildren, Justina Keller, Donte, Kendall, Percella, Kaylee and Taiona Smith, Tailise Curtis, Audrey and Grant Parker and Galen Sweeney, Jr; great-grandchild, Kaiden Burt; brothers, Ivan (Kay) Wamsley, Alvin Wamsley, Richard (Angie) Wamsley, David (Terri) Wamsley and Clifford (Debbie) Wamsley; also survived by other family members.
