Jasper T. Reeves
Centre – Jasper T. Reeves, 87, Key community, died in a Centre hospital last night following a short illness.
Funeral services will be held tomorrow at 3p.m. at Providence Baptist Church, the Rev. Ed Dempsey and the Rev. Jack Smith officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Minnie Reeves: four daughters, Mrs. J.F. Barnes, Rome, Ga., Mrs. John Morris, Lindale, Ga., Mrs. Thomas Hunter, Rome, Mrs. Will Baker, Miami; three sons, Frank Reeves, Cave Spring, Ga., L. Reeves and Paul Reeves, both of Route 1, Centre: a sister, Mrs. John Cronan, Piedmont; several grandchildren.
Mr. Reeves was a native of Georgia, but had lived most of his life in Cherokee County.
Perry Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
