Frances Lea Kindall, 83, Harrisonville, MO, died Wednesday, August 9, 2017 at the Kansas City Hospice House in Kansas City, MO. Funeral services were held Monday, August 14, 2017 at the Atkinson Funeral Home in Harrisonville with burial in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Pleasant Hill, MO. Memorial contributions may be made to Kansas City Hospice House, 1500 Meadow Lake Parkway, Suite 200, Kansas City, MO 64114. Frances was born April 4, 1934 in Springfield, MO, a daughter of Loren Price and Laura Belle (Buckner) Armstrong. She grew up in Springfield and was a 1952 graduate of Central High School in Springfield, MO. Frances was united in marriage to Lowell D. Kindall, July 21, 1953 in Springfield. After Lowell was discharged from the military, they made their home in the Kansas City, MO area. They moved to Harrisonville in 2012. Frances was an accountant for GSA in Kansas City before her retirement in 1986. She was a member of the Lee’s Summit Christian Church in Lee’s Summit, MO. Frances was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Ancel and Boyd Armstrong. She is survived by her husband, Lowell Kindall, of the home; a son, Mike Kindall and wife, Jan, Greenwood, MO; three daughters, Susan Stoterau, Harrisonville, Janice Carter and husband, Terry, Kansas City, MO, and Pamela Linquist and husband, Mike, Harrisonville; her twin brother, Franklin Armstrong, Lebanon, MO; 10 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren
