Mr. Knoblauch was a native of Germany, coming to Kansas in 1876 and locating at St. Mark. He was a retired farmer and grain buyer of this vicinity, and during recent years had operated a citrus farm in Texas.
He died Thursday at McAllen, Texas. The body will be brought here Sunday and will be at Lahey-Martin chapel. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.

The family headstone has been chipped, and the family name, at first glance, appears to be "Knoblauck". On closer inspection, the last character is an "H", correctly spelling Knoblauch. All other records show the last name as "Knoblauch."
