3. Abiel Abbot m. 1764 Dorcas Abbot (1744-1825). ; Abiel Abbott (1741-1814) served on the Committee of Safety and in the General Court of New Hampshire. He served as muster master at the close of the war and was commissioned major of militia. He was born in Andover, Mass.; died in Wilton, N. H.
