Daughter of Thomas and Rebecca (Witten) Peery, both natives of Tazewell County, Virginia. Louisa married A. W. Hyder on February 22, 1872 and had two children. On February 12, 1880 she married Lewis Allen Murrell. They had four known children. Louisa died in Athens Township on their farm north of Albany of myocarditis and gallstones contributing, aged 78y 8m 24d. She was buried in Grandview East Cemetery on November 10, 1930.

NOTE: Headstone has Luisa while death certificate has Louisa.
