Billy was the son of the late Willard Charles and Ruby Wilson Wright.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife Minnie and sister, Brenda.

He is survived by the following members of his family:

Children: Billie Jean (Jessie) Partin, Sharon Gail (Paul Ward) Wright, Ruby Lee (Michael) Houston, and Angalea (Brian) Orick

Brothers: Charles Wright and Raymond Wright

Grandchildren: Andrea, Gabriel, William, Alex, Kaytlyn, Andrew, Michael Wayne, Taylor, and Lillian
