Clara (or Cordy as she was affectionately known by friends and family) went quietly to meet her boys August 11, 2017 at the home of her niece in Pocatello. She was born October 23, 1922 in Thayne, WY. She was the third child and first daughter born to Jess and Jessie Vail Alexander with two more brothers and two more sisters to follow.

Even growing up during the depression she said she was raised in the best of times. In 1938 she married the love of her life, Walton Noe, in American Falls, ID. She and Walt had three children: Orban, Sharon and Grover. They moved around a lot because of Walt’s job on the railroad, but because of her positive attitude and good work ethic she was always able to find good jobs. She worked for GE at the site and several state agencies as well. She always had a good story and a quick laugh, but you always knew where you stood with her. Cordy told it like it was and would mince no words if she was upset with you.

She was a good daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt and friend! She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her 3 children; three brothers, Ern, Bud and Ted and one great grandson. She is survived by grandchildren, Lori Corbett, Wendy Roesler, Shan Noe, Chuck Buckta, Brandon Ann Stears; 13 great grandchildren, 6 great-great grandchildren; brother, Lee Alexander; sisters, Wanda Caruthers and Gay Hintz and many nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at the Emmett Cemetery Thursday, August 17, 2017 at 10:00 am.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Cordy’s name to the Vail Family Scholarship Fund c/o-Terrina Pena 765 Bonanza Ave, Chubbuck 83202.
