She loved being with family, especially her grandchildren whom she was known to spoil. Carol had a great sense of humor and leaves behind a legacy of countless stories, some of which may have been exaggerated a bit. Her spare time was often spent playing cards and working on puzzles.
Left to cherish her memory are four children and their spouses, Diane & Gary Clark of Caro, Dale Tibbits of Caro, Dave & Colleen Block of Caro, Dan & Brenda Block of Elkton; five grandchildren and their spouses, Jason & Lynda Clark of Unionville, Brenda & Dave Holder of Caro, Heather Hausmann of Bloomfield Hills, Andy & Katie Block of Vassar, Adam & Samantha Block of Elkton; eight great-grandchildren with another expected shortly; one sister and two brothers; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Carol was preceded in death by her step-mother, Evelyn Trost; and one brother, Larry Trost.
In keeping with Carol’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service was held on Saturday, August 26, 2017 at Rivers Edge Church in Caseville with Pastor John Gunden officiating.
