Dorothy Marie Wilkey Maritt passed away on July 14, 2017 at the age of 87 in Greenville, MS. She was born in Little Rock, AR on July 26th, 1929 to the late Samuel Henry Wilkey and Osa Lee Wilkey.

She was preceded in death by husbands Dr. James A. Alexander and Daniel Earl Maritt. She is survived by sons John B. Alexander (Diane), James W. Alexander, Paul C. Alexander, Andrew Lee Alexander (Patsy), a daughter, Linda J. Alexander, a stepdaughter, Linda Yarbrough (Tommy), 11 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren.

She graduated from Texas high in Texarkana, TX and attended Texas College. After many years of living in MS she retired to Clinton, AR.

She was a member of Leslie United Methodist Church.

A memorial service was held on August 12th at 10 am at Roller McNutt Funeral Home in Clinton, AR.
