Lila married Richard Stalzle July 11, 1953 at Trinity Methodist Church in Denver. They had two children, Susan Stalzle Ryan and Steven Stalzle. They had two grandchildren, Lee and Shanna Ryan. They lived in north Denver and were active members of North Highland Presbyterian Church. Lila retired from the Amoco Oil Company (now BP), where she worked as a secretary in the law department.
