Thumbnail Sketch - When Henry Conrad Bauer was born in Idaho August 27 1927, his father, Henry G. Bauer, was 30 and his mother, LaMonte Pendrey Bauer, was 23. He had six brothers and one sister - Bob, Charles, Rick, Phil, Dave, Steve, Merry and a step-sister, Elaine Virginia Bauer Gettman. He married Clara Mae Clouse on November 7, 1948, in St. Anthony, Fremont, Idaho. Together they had five children. He passed away in San Jose, Santa Clara, California.

Passage - Resident of Campbell, California.
Born again 12/19/66. Conn is survived by his wife Clare, his children Julie (Stass), Becky (Cobler), Lisa (Strouss), Nancy and Jon, ten grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and seven siblings. As owner of Bauer Concrete and a Bay Area contractor for many years, he helped build Valley Christian School. He also served as Northern California Director for Campus Crusade for Christ. He retired in 1991 and traveled extensively throughout North America with Clare in their RV. He also became active in Habitat for Humanity.
