BRISTOL - Lillian DeNote, 92, of Bristol, widow of Frank J. DeNote, died Saturday, March 3, 2007, at the Nursing Care Center of Bristol. She was born May 23, 1914, in Hartford, daughter of the late Ludwig and Olympia (Raffael) Coiro. Mrs. DeNote was a longtime resident of Bristol and was a member of St. Matthew Church in Forestville. She was employed at Wasley Products for many years, until her retirement in 1982. The last two years of her life were spent at the Nursing Care Center of Bristol, with many loving caregivers and friends. She was an avid baseball enthusiast and loved her New York Yankees. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Frederic J. and Betsy DeNote of Bristol; her grandchildren, Jonathan DeNote and Sarah Morgan; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Friday at 9 a.m. from O'Brien Funeral Home, 24 Lincoln Ave., Forestville, to St. Matthew Church, Forestville, for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bristol. Calling hours will be held at the funeral home on Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the Greater Bristol Visiting Nurse Association Inc., 195 Maltby St., Bristol, CT 06010
