Their son Philip Marshall Thomas DeChant was born in Bartow, Florida Sept.5, 1976 now residing in Emory, Texas with his family. Their second son Jesse James DeChant was born May 12, 1980 in Ft. Worth, Texas now residing in Eunice, New Mexico with his family..
Not long after Jesse was born they moved back to Lakeland, Florida. LaDonna attended Polk Technical Center and graduated nursing school in May of 1982.
At age 30 LaDonna decided to go to college and attended the College of St. Scholastica in Duluth, Minnesota graduating Cum Laude, on May 20, 1995.
While attending college she had the opportunity to study in Ireland. She was there 3 months and loved it. She traveled all of Ireland with other classmates on bus tours every week end.
On April 2,2001 she married Hermann Edward Freiberg in Pasco County, Florida.
Before her death she had many health issues but still had her sense of humor.
She leaves behind her parents Gaylord and Karen Ladwig, her ex-husbands, her sons and their families. Her brother Tom and his wife Donna Maureen Ladwig, their son Tom Ladwig Jr. and his family
LaDonna was cremated and ashes scattered at grave site.
