Willa Lee (Billie) Frankovich, 80, died Friday morning at Deaconess Hospital in Great Falls following an extended illness. Billie was born on November 23, 1905 in Sulligent, Alabama, the daughter of Joseph and Amanda McLemore. She received her education in Sulligent and later moved, with her family, to Lovell, Wyoming. At the age 19, she moved to Anaconda where she met and married Mike Domitrovich on July 30, 1930. A daughter, Joyce, was born to them. Mike died in 1939. She then married Ralph Frankovich in 1940. A daughter, Judy, was born to them. While living in Anaconda, Billie was employed as a professional seamstress and taught ceramics. She was a past president of the Eagles Drill Team, held several offices for the Bowling Association, was a member of AARD and the Anaconda Catholic Community. Survivors include two daughters and sons in law; Mr. & Mrs. Robert (Joyce) Maehl, Anaconda; Mr. & Mrs. Ronald (Judy) Coleman, Great Falls; four grandchildren: Mrs. Duane (Cindie) Green, Loni Lee Green, Darren and Rhonda Coleman; two great grandchildren: Wesley and Chad Green: numerous nieces and nephews. She was proceeded in death by her parents, her first husband Mike, her second husband Ralph, a brother, Harry McLemore, and Gert Rivers. As Billie had lived in Great Falls for the past 2 and a half years with her daughter Judy, a memorial service was held in Great Falls at Sta. Peter and Paul Church on Sunday. September 28. The Rosary was prayed on Saturday. Cremation has taken place. A memorial mass will be celebrated Friday October 3 at 12:10pm at Holy Family Church at Anaconda. Interments will follow at Mount. Olivet Cemetery. O'Connor Funeral Home in Great Falls was in charge of arrangements.
