Jack Howard Stevens, 51, formerly of Niles
Niles - Jack Howard Stevens, 51, 1230 N. Berendo St., Los Angeles, Calif., formerly of Niles, died Thursday in Los Angeles. The Los Angeles County Coroner's Office is investigating.
He was born here July 5, 1933, the son of George A. and Dora M. Hudson Stevens.
Mr. Stevens had lived in California 15 years.
An Air Force veteran of the Korea War, he was a self-employed painter.
Survivors include his wife, Emma Wagner Stevens, whom he married four years ago; and a sister, Mrs. Buck (Harriet) Pierce of Warren.
A graveside service will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. in Union Cemetery.
There will be no calling hours.
