Lafayette G. Albee, 84. died today at 4:45 a.m. at Alexian Brothers Home.
He was born in Frederika, Iowa, on March IS, 1880, son of Mr. and Mrs. Byron Albee, and married in West Bloomfield on April 7, 1911, to Bertha Fischer, who preceded him in death.
Mr. Albee resided in Waupaca and Weyauwega before coming to Oshkosh about 50 years ago. He had been employed by Deltox Rug Co., was a member of its 25-year club and received u 50-year pin from the concern.
Surviving are one son, Russell Albee, Oshkosh; one brother, Byron Hendrichs, Russell, Minn.; one grandchild, one great-grandchild, nieces and nephews.
Services will be held Friday at 1:30 p.m. at Martin Luther Church, with the Rev. H. 0. Kleinhans officiating. Burial will be in Lakeview Memorial Park. Friends may call at Seefeld Funeral Home from 4 p.m. Thursday until noon on Friday. The casket will be closed at the chiurch.
