Allan Hunter Baumbach, 68, died Tuesday, April 25, 2017, in Park Ridge, Cook County.

He was born July 30, 1948, in Bremen, Ind., Marshall County. He married Judith M. Carlson on June 20, 1987, and divorced Sept. 29, 1989.

Allan worked at Titan Wheel Co. in Quincy and was a bookkeeper for United Auto Workers Industry in Chicago. He also worked for H&R Block filing taxes. He enjoyed collecting antiques and family genealogy.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl J. Baumbach and Ruth E. Hunter Baumbach, and a brother, Frederick J. Baumbach.

SERVICES: Private ceremony at 10:30 a.m. Friday, May 5, at the mausoleum site in Hunter Cemetery, Mendon, where his ashes will be laid to rest.
