Renee was preceded in death by her father, Walter Wayne Nichols, and mother, Erma Lucille Mann Nichols.

She is survived by her husband, Rich Happach; sons Chad Myers (Angel), T.J. Myers (Ginnie) and Nic Myers (Rhonda); daughters, Teri (Zac) Williams and Marie Happach; sisters, Donna (James) Hash, Cindy Nichols and Marietta (Frank) Nelson; brothers, Danny Nichols and Gary Nichols; and her grandchildren, Mason, Kaiden, Leytyn, Morgan, McKinley, and Tate.

She and her husband owned Rich's Classic Catering, which they operated in Illinois with the help of family and friends.
