She was born in Norwich, Connecticut on June 18, 1926, daughter of the late Peter and Ann (Jankoski) Lopato and was a valley resident most of her life.
Mrs. Bernabucci was employed at Schick Manufacturing, Inc. for over 25 years until her retirement in 1991. She enjoyed baking, cooking, Polka dancing, bingo and playing Mahjong with her friends.
She is survived by her children, Vincent Bernabucci of Ansonia; Laura Bracci and her husband William of Seymour, and Debra Bartram and her husband Mark of Moultonborough, New Hampshire; brothers, Peter and John Lopato; sisters, Doris Kosloffsky, Barbara Whiting, Edith Clarke, and Patricia Alden; grandchildren, Melodie Macsay and her husband Timothy, Colin Bartram, Michael Bernabucci and his wife Saralyn, Bobby Villalba and his wife Barbara, Vincent Barnabucci and his wife Tiffany; great-grandchildren, Madison and Savanna Macsay, Liam Villalba, and Savannah, Hunter and Vincent Bernabucci.
She was predeceased by her son Robert Bernabucci, Jr.and her twin sister Florence Gay.
