On the 1910 Monongalia County, WV Census she is listed as a step-daughter of Charles L. Austin, her name is Myrtle E. Shuttlesworth, however, there is a birth record for Helen Evelyn Myrtle Austin in Monongalia Co., with Charles L. and Laura M. Austin listed as the parents, and this is the same name listed on the death certificate in Taylor County.

Excerpt -- Grafton, W.Va., Nov. 30 -- The body of a woman who leaped to her death in the Tygart River yesterday was identified today as that of Mr. Myrtle Blaney of Pisgah, Monongalia County. Morgue officials said identification was made by Charles Austin, who identified himself as her step-father, and a brother-in-law, Frank Weaver. They said that Mrs. Blaney, wife of Don Blaney of Pisgah, had suffered a mental illness. Coroner Ona C. Jeffreys said the woman committed suicide by leaping into the river from a city bridge.
