Mrs. Beard was born May 9, 1896 In Pike County, to Ezekiel Young & Lucebe Greer Howell.
Preceded in death by her parents, her spouse, Lewis J. Beard, and many of her siblings.
Survivors include one son, Willie R. Howell of McComb; one step-son, Kelly A. Beard of Charleston, South Carolina; one step-daughter, Verine Kyzar of Jayess; two brothers, Jewell Howell of McComb, Pete Howell of New Orleans, LA; twelve grandchildren and eight great-grand children.
Burial in Enon Cemetery, Walthall County, MS with Catchings Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
