Mary Loyce Cape, age 82, of Cumming, GA, passed away Friday, August 25, 2017. Mary Loyce was a faithful member and Sunday School Teacher at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church in Cumming, GA. She was a bus driver in Forsyth County and Lumpkin County for many years. While working for Lumpkin County, she also worked as a paraprofessional for children with special needs. Mary Loyce is preceded in death by her loving husband, Thad Cape; parents, Joshua Clarence and Martha LouEmma Sewell; and brother, Harold Sewell.

She is survived by her children, Rhonda Cape, Deryl (Donna) Cape, and Denise (Chris) Wheeler; brothers and sisters-in-law, Charles (Loretta) Sewell, and Jackie (Jessie) Sewell; sisters-in-law, Sharron Sewell and Lottie Sewell; grandchildren, Melody (Quincy) Whiten, Andrew Cape, and Cayla Wheeler; great grandchildren, Harmony Pribble and McKenzie Whiten; along with many other loving relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Mrs. Cape will be held Monday, August 28, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church in Cumming, GA, with Rev. Clyde Boling, Rev. Randy Richards, and Rev. Jamie Sanford will be officiating. Interment will follow at the church cemetery.
