Hugh Quinn, an elderly and highly respected resident of the Eighth ward passed away at his home in Syracuse avenue last evening.
Mr. Quinn was seventy four years old and during his lifetime was a ship carpenter.

He was born in Ireland but came to this city when a boy.

He is survived by his widow, one son, James of this city and two daughters, Mrs. Daniel Heagerty of this city and Mrs. A.J. Humphrey of Canastota.
