Arlo Miller, 60, of Ankeny, was killed in a tractor accident. Burial was in the Ames Municipal Cemetery.

Born in Ida Grove, the son of William E. and Bertha B. (Heaton) Miller. He had four brothers and a sister. His parents married in 1905 (it was his mothers 2nd) and they divorced in the 1920s.

Survivors include his wife, Evelyn; two sons, David of Ankeny, and Stephen of Marlton, N.J.;
four brothers:
1. Herbert of Lakeview,
2. Forrest of Pender, Neb.,
3. Homer E. (born 14 Dec. 1913) of San Diego, Calif., and
4. Bill of San Francisco, Calif.;
5. a sister, Clementine May Miller (born 14 Apr. 1910) of Seattle, Wash., and a grandson.

He was preceded in death by his parents and son, Michael Arthur born 26 Aug. 1939 in Ida Grove, Iowa.
