Larry Jon Smith, 63 of Logansport, passed away Saturday, August 26, 2017 in his residence.

Born on November 29, 1953 in Logansport, he was the son of Glenn Franklin Smith and Lois Quinn. On November 6, 1976 in Logansport he married Carol L. Lambert who survives.

Larry was retired from the Logansport State Hospital. He was also the former owner and operator of Larry's Brew and Cue. Larry enjoyed canoeing, playing pool and spending time with his grandchildren.

Surviving along with his wife Carol, is his mother, Lois Smith, Reynolds; four daughters, Lora Collins and Rob Rennewanz, Logansport; Kiley (James) Tokarz, Kettering, OH; Ashley (Brock) Fultz; Stefanie Smith and fiancée, Chad Fultz, both of Logansport; sister, Sharon (Mike) Schroder, Reynolds; 13 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Smith and his father, Glenn F. Smith.

A celebration of life will be held at 6:00 PM on Wednesday, August 30, 2017 in the Gundrum Funeral Home with Kelly Spencer officiating. Visitation will be held from 3:00 PM until the time of service.

Memorials may be made to the Cass County Humane Society.
