A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 AM Thursday, August 31, 2017 at St. Mary of the Angels Catholic Church in Wien. Visitation will be held from 6-8 PM Wednesday, August 30 at the church in Wien with Vigil service at 7:30 PM.

Joan E. Adler, age 75 of Liberty, Missouri formerly of Wien, died Monday, August 28, 2017 at North Kansas City Hospital. Joan was born on May 31, 1942 to Jerry and Leona (Schiltz) Domann at Paola, Kansas. She married Gary Adler in 1965 and he survives her.
Joan had worked at North Kansas City Hospital in the accounts payable department. She was a member of the St. Mary of the Angels Catholic Church in Wien and a Liberty resident the past 24 years.
She is survived by her husband Gary of the home in Liberty; son Tabb Adler and Nancy of Liberty; three brothers, Jerry Domann and Martha of Shell Knob; Bill Domann of Independence; and Steve Domann and Meredith of Platte City; three grandchildren, Justin Adler and wife Nicki, Rochelle and Trevor Adler and one great grandchild Brooke Adler. She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Bonnie and Verna and brother Marion.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 AM Thursday, August 31, 2017 at St. Mary of the Angels Catholic Church in Wien with private family burial at a later date, Visitation will be held from 6-8 PM Wednesday, August 30 at the church in Wien with Vigil service at 7:30 PM.
