Brewster standard., October 07, 1892 - Mrs Dsvid H Keeler Sr, while preparing dinner Monday was stricken with apoplexy, and when discovered upon the floor by her husband, was breathing her last.
She had been in fairly good health and only ten minutes before being discovered was seen through the window, hurrying with household details.
An employee of the little place at Pilgrim Corners was dispatched for Dr Mills, but Mrs Keeler was dead before he arrived.
Her maiden name was Freelove Ann Bailey, and she was born in Southeast. Putnam, NY in 1814.
She was the dtr of Samuel and Mercy Bailey, and 2 sisters, Mrs Geo W Hutchins of NY and Mrs Samuel Smith of Westchester County, survive her.
The surviving children are Bailey S of this city, Benjamin F of Honesdale PA, David H Jr and William of this city.,
Deceased was well known in Peekskill, Monticello and this county....
