Naomi Ruth Adams Burns, 86, formerly of Greenview, WV, was a daughter of the late Henry Harrison Adams and Anna Jane Cecil Adams.She attended Coal Valley Freewill Baptist Church and was active in Senior Citizens before moving to Concord, NC. As a young woman, Ruth served as a Girl Scout leader for Clothier Troop, was a member of Rebecca Lodge in Craigsville, WV, and directed Vacation Bible School. Her family remembers countless summers spent at their camp on Summersville Lake, her immense joy at being on the beach, and the beauty of her alto voice sharing hymns of praise or singing "You are my Sunshine" to her grandchildren.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Thomas Jackson Burns; brother, Harold Lloyd Adams. She is survived by daughter, Ruth Ann; three sisters, Violet, Ruby and Marie.
