Stone, William Arthur, Sr. "Bill", 89, of Franklin, passed away August 30, 2017. He was born April 18, 1928 in Witt Spring, KY to the late Herbert and Mary (Green) Stone. He was an Army Veteran of WWII, and was retired from GM/Delco after 34 years. He was a member of the Pennyroyal Baptist Church and IUE Local 801.
Bill was preceded in death by his wife of 51 years, Ruth (Ruble) Stone, and daughter, Linda (Stone) Stephens. He is survived by his son, William "Art" Stone; grandsons, Jason Stone, Derek Stephens; granddaughters, Kara Stephens, Deborah (Stone) Barnett and husband, Vincent; 4 great-grandchildren and numerous family and friends.
