Mildred was born on Sept. 3, 1944, in St. Louis to the late Louis and Marie (Lux) Ahlvers. On April 6, 1974, in St. Louis she was united in marriage to William "Bill" Herman. Before her retirement she drove a school bus. She enjoyed cooking and watching television.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bill; and great-granddaughter, Allison Schneider.
Her survivors include her sons, Dale Dillingham and wife Lisa of Belle and Edwin Dillingham and wife Chasity of Owensville; and five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, Sept. 7 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Owensville.
Services will follow at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Kevin Sullivan officiating. The cremains will be interred at a later date in Memorial Park in St. Louis.
