Mrs. Katherina M. Weers, 82, died at 8:30 a.m. Thursday at her home in Linn Township, Woodford County. Her funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, with the Rev. H. J. Knoploh officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be after 7 p.m. Saturday at Pacey Funeral Home at Washburn. The family has requested that expressions of sympathy be made in the form of contributions to a memorial fund.
She was born Oct. 14, 1876, in Linn Township, a daughter of Eilert and Margaret Aden Harms. She was married to H. G. Weers June 26, 1902, at St. Peter's Lutheran Church.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Marie Seabers, Peoria; Mrs. Margaret Selburg, White Bear, Minn.; Mrs. Katherine Braun, Washburn; two sons, Eilert, Washburn; John, Channahon; nine grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; a niece, Miss Helen Johnson, who was reared in the Weers home.
