Ingeborg S. Ammon, 87, passed away Wednesday evening, Aug. 30, 2017 at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital. She was born in Wetzlar, Germany on June 15, 1930, the daughter of Wilhiem and Liselotte (Hertz) Muller and moved to Muncie in 1948.

Inge was a member of Destiny Christian Church and Women of the Moose Lodge #712. She enjoyed bowling, dancing, playing cards, casinos, and traveling.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Col. Glendon L. Amon, USAF, who was killed in action during the Vietnam War; her special companion, Richard "Scotty" Hunton; her brother, Wolfgang Muller; and her sister, Lilo Glenn.

Memorial services will be held at 4 p.m. on Wednesday at The Meeks Mortuary and Crematory, Washington Street Chapel.
